Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEIPNP)

Overview and advantages

The PEIPNP is a successful program that has been in existence for a number of years, and offers candidates a speedy and easy way to continue their business endeavors in Canada, and eventually obtain permanent residency.

Minimum Requirements

– Be between 21 and 59 year of age;
– Obtain a minimum band score of 4.0 on the IELTS exam (within the last two years);
– Have a minimum net worth of CAD$ 600,000;
– Have at least 2 years management experience;
– The candidate must take a 5-day exploratory business trip to Prince Edward

Investment

Full Ownership Stream

– An applicant who has management and entrepreneurial experience seeking to buy or start a business in PEI. The applicant must meet the program criteria and will be required to make a conditionally refundable deposit of $200,000 Canadian dollars to be held in escrow by the Provincial government.

Partial Ownership Stream

– An applicant who has management and entrepreneurial experience seeking to partner with a PEI business. The applicant must acquire at least 33 1/3 % of the business equity or invest $1,000,000 Canadian dollars in the equity of the business. The applicant must meet the program criteria and will be required to make a conditionally refundable deposit of $200,000 Canadian dollars to be held in escrow by the Provincial government.

– Application for Temporary Resident Visa
– Appointment with PEI PNP Office
– Exploratory Trip to PEI & Interview with PEI Officer
– Submission of business plan
– Placement of escrow
– Issuance of Nomination Certificate
