US EB-3 EMPLOYMENT-BASED US IMMIGRANT VISA
The EB-3 visa is a relatively easy immigration option for professionals, skilled workers, and unskilled workers hoping to get permanent residency (Green Card) in the United States.
What is an EB-3 Visa?
EB-3 is an employment-based US immigrant visa. It is the third preference group for work visas and is reserved especially for professionals, skilled, or “unskilled” employees. On EB-3 You are able to reside and work permanently in the United States and obtain Green Card. You may qualify for the EB3 Visa if you meet the requirements under one of the 3 categories.
- “Professionals” refers to people who have earned a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in another country.
- “Skilled” is interpreted as meaning someone who has worked in a specific occupation for at least two years.
- “Unskilled” subcategory is often reserved for people with less than two years of professional experience or education.
Compared to the EB-1 and EB-2 categories, the EB-3 visa has fewer complex eligibility requirements, but there are more qualified candidates. In general, international workers who meet the work experience and educational qualifications and also have a permanent employment offer in the United States are better suited for this visa.
