PEQ is an accelerated selection program for skilled workers who wish to obtain a Quebec Selection Certificate with the goal of becoming permanent residents of Canada. The program is intended for Québec graduates and temporary foreign workers.

Quebec Experience Program (Programme de l’expérience québécoise, PEQ) is an accelerated selection program for skilled workers who wish to obtain a Quebec Selection Certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec) with a view to becoming permanent residents of Canada. The program is intended for Québec graduates and temporary foreign workers who meet certain conditions, such as demonstrating advanced intermediate knowledge of oral French.
Study Permit Requirements for Canada
The main applicant must be 18 years old or above
- No criminal record
- Pass medical check
- IELTS scores of 6.0 or above

PEQ: Program Process
- Simard & Associates’ professional consultant team will assist clients to select schools in Quebec and obtain Study Permit to Canada.
- Applicants will need to obtain an eligible Québec diploma from Quebec. Examples for an eligible Quebec diploma could be:
- Diploma of college studies, technical training
- Diploma of vocational studies, attesting to 1,800 hours or more of study
- Diploma of vocational studies, attesting to a minimum of 1,800 hours of continuing education and leading to a particular trade
- Applicants need to pass French level B2 or a recognized French course
